Itinerary

Day 1 Orange River South Africa
We depart Cape Town and make our way north, taking in the scenery, from the majestic Cederberg Mountain range to the arid vistas of Namaqualand. We set up camp on the banks of the Orange River. (D) |
Day 2 Fish River Canyon Namibia
In Namibia, we head off to the Fish River Canyon, the second largest canyon in the world. We watch the sunset over the canyon and camp under the stars. (BD) |
Days 3 and 4 Sesriem Namibia
Sesriem is situated on edge of the vast Namib Desert. We visit the ancient Sesriem canyon and the world famous dunes of Sossusvlei. These dunes are some of the highest in the world - see if you can make it to the top! (BLD) |
Days 5 and 6 Swakopmund Namibia
We travel through the Namib-Naukluft Park and view some more amazing scenery. The lunar landscape appears as we approach the coast. Swakopmund is an oasis coastal town, with a strong German influence. There are many options available to you, such as deep-sea fishing, a visit to a seal colony, quad biking or sand boarding. The evenings are free to enjoy the plentiful nightlife. (B) |
Day 7 Cheetah Farm Namibia
We make our way to the cheetah farm where the afternoon is spent on a tour of this interesting cheetah project; giving us the opportunity to experience these endangered felines up close. (BLD |
Days 8 and 9 Etosha Namibia
Etosha is ranked as one of Africa's great game parks and is home to a large population of animals, the saline Etosha pan stretches for 120 km and is a sanctuary for largest population of Black Rhino in the world. Our days are spent game viewing, bird watching, and taking in the superb scenery of this arid region. (BLD) |
Day 10 and 11 Okavango Panhandle Namibia
Leaving Etosha, we head northeast to Ngepi and camp on the banks of the famous Okavango River. The next day is spent exploring the waterways of the Okavango by motorboat and mokoro (two-man dugout canoe) on optional activities. |
Day 12 and 13 Livingstone Zambia
Leaving Namibia, we head through the Caprivi Strip and cross the Zambezi River into Zambia. We make our way to Livingstone, the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls and enjoy a sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. Our days are spent taking part in the various optional activities that this adrenaline capital of Africa has to offer. Evenings to be spent enjoying the sunsets on the Zambezi. (B) |
Day 14 Livingstone Zambia
We explore the magnificent Victoria Falls before bidding farewell to our fellow travellers. (B) |
